SULTANPUR BIRD SANTUARY: PHOTO BLOG

Natural photography, Birds and Animals

In one good news, I am selected as one of the top solo female travel bloggers from around the world by Feedspot. Hey guys,  what's up.  After long time I am back to write my blog.I wrote my blog on travel, so I thought I will make something interesting on my blog.  So good idea is to take just pictures and post it on my blog.
I woke up early in the morning and decided my day what need to do today. Just surfing my internet and thought I will check some good places for photography , so I got one of best places where I can refresh my mind and spend my all day with nature, birds,  animals and less crowd. I took my camera (DSLR) , packed the things which I thought I  would need there.

Morning 9 am in this smog (Fog & Pollution) I went to sikandarpur metro station and even I was not aware about how to reach this beautiful place. It was horrible time for me to reach at metro and google it for location.

About Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary??

Sultanpur  Bird Sanctuary is very popular national park of India which is located in small village Farukh Nagar Gurugram, which is 40km away from Delhi and 27km away from Gurgaon. This bird sanctuary managed by Forest department of Haryana. The place is spread in 352 acres (in 5km circle).

Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary was established in the year of 1971. The susultanpur Bird sanctuary was declared as a National Park in the year of 1991.

Every year more than 100 migratory bird species arrived at sultanpur in search of feeding grounds and to pass the winter.

Best month to visit?

Best month to visit this place is in October mid to March because of weather is quite pleasant.

How to reach Sultanpur bird sanctuary???

Iffco chowk (Yellow Line)  which is second last Metro Station of Gurgaon near to this metro there is bus stand of Iffco chowk to Sultanpur bird centuary. But my recommendation is own transportation.

Worth to visit??Ticket??Facilities ??

Of course it is worth to visit with family and kids. Good for photography with good posing of animals. In terms of facilities there are battery operated carts and binoculars on hire for 2-3 hrs for INR 200 each.  There is also an information center which doubles up as a museum and park. Quite informative with printed descriptions of the visiting birds and also interactive audiobaords that mimic bird cries, kinda cool for kids and adults alike.
Entry ticket is 15 rupees and if you carry camera than for that as well separate ticket need to bought. But very sadly there is no food stalls , nothing available inside to eat.

Note : If you going with kids please carry foods and water bottle.

I spend my full day in photography as its very difficult to take posing pictures of birds, animals rather than just capture pictures of human being and natural view.
